Installation Warranty
Installation Warranty
- 1 year from the installation date of the carpet in your residence
- 1 year from the date of installation on all hard surface products installed in your residence (sheet vinyl, vinyl plank & tile, ceramics, laminate, and hardwood).
Commercial Installation Warranty: 1 year from the date of installation applies to all products, including carpets installed in commercial buildings, rental properties, or areas of the home used for commercial purposes.
Please note that each of our locations may have a different installation warranty; however, the minimum warranty period is 1 year.
The installation warranty provided by United Floors ensures that the floor covering you have purchased will be installed according to the manufacturer's specifications. If, within the specified time limits, you discover any issues related to the original installation workmanship, United Floors will rectify the installation at no additional cost to you. However, certain conditions apply to this warranty:
Scope and Limitations: This warranty applies solely to the original purchaser and is specific to the location from which you acquired your floor covering and installation services from United Floors. Only the designated United Floors location is obligated to uphold the warranty terms. Other locations using the United Floors name are not bound by this warranty.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover issues related to stairs, problems caused by excessive alkali or hydrostatic pressure in the subfloor, problems arising from using materials in areas not recommended by the manufacturer, issues resulting from a lack of or improper maintenance, and any issues caused by unsuitable environmental conditions such as high or low temperature or humidity levels outside the recommended parameters set by the manufacturer. These exclusions ensure that the warranty applies only to issues directly related to the installation workmanship, not to external factors beyond the control of United Floors.
Timelines: Any issues related to the installation must be reported within the specified timelines. United Floors is not liable for costs associated with issues reported after the specified timelines.
Manufacturer Warranty: It's important to note that the product warranty is provided solely by the manufacturer, not the retailer. United Floors is not obligated or liable for any repair or replacement costs associated with defective material covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Any issues with the product itself should be addressed through the manufacturer's warranty procedures.
Our installers follow best practices and the manufacturer's guidelines to ensure proper installation of your chosen product. Your satisfaction and the integrity of our installations are of utmost importance to us.
